Sri V Krishnan Master is serving the Bank as its Chairman since 29/5/2016. And was director from 1993 onwards. A true Gandhiyan in every walk of life, and an active leader of Indian National Congress for the last six decades. He was born on 08/01/1943 ,in an ordinary agriculture family of the hill tracts of the northern kerala,bought up in a humble way, he became a hindi teacher and worked for long 37 years. His social life even at this age is very encouraging, a hard core trade unionist, best organizer,sincere cultural and social worker,and a well known ‘sahakari ‘ in the co operative movement.He proved his social commitment at very young age ,during the Indo-China war in 1962 ,he woked as “Upadalapathi” entrusted with the duties of collecting fund ,essential materials to the injured jawans ,refugees and war affected people In 1964 ,he founded a rural library &reading room at Cherupuzha,and still he is working as its President. He had served as various capacities in Peringome-Vayakkara Grama Panchayath(1983-2005) & vice President of Cherupuzha Grama Panchayath.( 2005-2015 ) He was Director and President of Padiyotchal Service Co oP Bank.(1967-93) Besides co op banking ,he was deeply involved in co op education field too and had served for 30 years with a leading education movement ,The Payyanur Educational Society as it treasure and vice President. His close association with the founder of the bank,Late sri. K P Noorudheen Saheb,(Ex minister and M L A)has moulded his vision in uplifting the bank to newer heights. Under his able leadership and vast knowledge coupled with decades of experiences the bank is growing fastly with glory of modernization, tech -friendly without compromising on transparency and traditions of the Bank.
